We are building a platform where digital music releases look awesome. We think the extra artwork that traditionally accompanies vinyl gives fans a deeper connection with the music and should accompany the digital experience too.

We’ve built a format sensitive to legacy vinyl artwork and for artists and labels who are moving away from, or can’t afford physical releases, we are the platform where the same level of creativity can be celebrated.

Sleevenote launched as an iOS music player app in 2012, since then it has been through a transition into an openly accessible web based artwork platform.

We are primarily interested in nurturing relationships with labels, artists and designers in order to make the most compelling digital music product possible for the industry and fans alike.

In 2020 we embarked on the ambitious project designing a music player device. Our crowdfunding goal was unsuccessful but the dream of building hardware lives on.  More information on the Sleevenote player concept here.
